Day 2

We are hiking the Indian Nature Trail today. It’s a fairly short, approx 4 mile trail.

Lichen
Climbing over trees

Spotted bee balm
Spiderwort
Twisted vines

Hawthorn
Millipede

Looking at all-trails map. There were numerous trail intersections with no markings so we made a couple of extra jaunts.

Ferns growing on the moss of a downed tree branch

Had several water crossings

A hatching of millipedes
Lichen
Unique hole in the tree trunk
Had lunch at The Eat Out. Lots of unusual burgers.
Stopped for coffee in Cove at a nice Christian coffee shop.
Drove  into Arkansas as we made a big loop around the lake this afternoon.
Saw blade pic for John

The marina at Broken Bow Lake

Beavers Bend State Park Forest Heritage Center-note the age of the tree is from 1653.
Wood working tools. Amazing chain saw.
After a rest at the the cabin, we drove into Broken Bow for dinner at Papa Poblano’s. It was pretty tasty. Now we are in for the night.
